Lancashire Business Environment Awards 2012
As we draw towards the end of the year and the colder nights begin too roll in we have made it to yet another final. This time we entered ourselves into the Lancashire Business Enviroment Awards 2012 and the waste minimisation category for sme's as we recycle around 98% of our sister companys waste wood which would be normally heading for landfill sites.
This years awards saw a record breaking number of entries with nearly 100 applications, so for us to reach the final 3 was a big achievement but unfortunately we were pipped at the post with the winner being cavalier carpets based in Blackburn. A massive congratulations to them and to Groundwork Pennine Lancashire for hosting the awards.
We will be entering again next year and hopefully it will be us on the winners stand.
